Sometimes it hurts to watch the sunset
because I see and feel everything
I've loved and lost.
I feel what's moving away from me even now,
and I feel the longing for what's yet to come.
It opens me almost a little too far
and makes me feel almost a little too much,
and this is why it's hard to watch the sunset
and why I always do.
