I found myself sitting there warming my hands
by the fire in your heart,
and you said you weren't sure how I got in there
because you build forts to keep this kind of thing
from happening.
And I said you left a trap door
in the wall over there, silly,
so I just crawled right in.
You grinned, and I had to admit
it was a pretty good idea you had,
leaving secret doors around this place
so I could find my way to you when the time was right.
