There's always something ending that I have to let go of,
something arriving that I have to be brave enough to meet,
and something still on its way
that I have to be patient and wise enough to wait for.
Life is a little here and a little gone.
A little now, a little not yet.
A little hard, a little soft,
and only fully understood by the part of me
that is okay with not being able to understand it all.
